Ben has been delivering enterprise technology and transformation for a couple of decades with household names ranging from Diageo, Epson, Bupa and BNP Paribas to, most recently, Royal Mail, where he was Digital Director. Ensuring engineering quality is at the core, he has delivered everything from high-volume e-Commerce sites, enterprise back-office systems, mobile apps to cloud and large-scale digital and Agile transformations.

Niamh Shaw

Strategy & Sustainability

Niamh Shaw is an Irish communicator, writer and explorer of space activities. As adviser and strategist on sustainability, Niamh uses the perspective of space to consider smarter and more sustainable alternatives for all Earth citizens. Working across many platforms, her work focusses on sharing the 'bigger perspective' of space to envisage a healthier, fairer and more equal, sustainable planet. She has spoken at prominent events including the Irish Presidents residence Áras an Uachtaráin on International Women's Day 2019, the Department of Foreign Affairs, Dublin on St Brigids Day 2020, WIRED Live UK, NASA Johnson Space Centre (USA), TEDxUCD and New Scientist (UK). She recently published her first book 'Dream Big- an Irishwoman's Space Odyssey' with Mercier Press and writes regularly for BBC’s Sky at Night magazine. Niamh continues to work on her project 'Walking Slowly to Space', a global walking project to meet & chat with diverse communities, to share & exchange ideas about science, space and the wider message of a safer, healthier & fairer planet for all.

Anil has 20+ years experience successfully delivering business and technology transformation.

He helps businesses to deliver on their goals, focussing on the needs of their users to provide user centric solutions and capabilities.


He is a change advocate who embraces new ideas and technologies. He uses this as the foundation to enable businesses to provide their services online and to implement iterative and incremental ways of thinking and working through Agile transformation.

He has worked in the private sector for a number of FTSE 100 companies including Aviva, Lloyds Banking and Sky and also within the public sector including Transport for London, The Mayor of London and The Home Office.

Morgan has a couple of decades experience in senior management positions in LA, New York and London. From large scale retailers including Banana Republic, La Perla and Thomas Pink to high-end boutique offerings such as Catherine Malandrino and Calypso, she brings extensive knowledge, processes and skills to bear on every project.

Rob Healey

Associate

Rob has over 15 years experience working at some of the UK’s largest financial services companies. He is an expert in risk and control management. His career has largely been focused on the independent oversight of strategic projects. This included working with programme directors to plan and execute insightful internal audit reviews. These typically focused on ensuring business benefits of major investments could be realised and providing independent assurance to Board Audit Committees that project risks were being controlled. Rob has also worked in a risk partnering capacity, helping central transformation teams establish repeatable tools and techniques for project risk management and educating business leaders on how to assess cultural readiness for new ways of working. Most recently, Rob has been using Lean principles to help document, assess and redesign business critical processes. These reviews were risk led; understanding how key processes supported business outcomes; and ensured that controls were pragmatic and appropriate. Where they were found to be lacking, he worked with business leaders to remove or refocus, improving efficiency, removing waste and allowing business to succeed.

Mike has over 10 years’ experience of architecting and leading the implementation of solutions with Microsoft Azure. He has led the cloud adoption at several early adoption customers in their sectors both in the UK and overseas. In addition to helping companies adopt new technologies Mike also has helped customers to develop their teams to best leverage their technology investments.

Mike is heavily involved in IT community activities such as Integration Monday, a weekly global webinar on Microsoft cloud technologies and the Integration Playbook which helps advise customers on Microsoft technology strategies and guidance on how to effectively implement integration technology.

Despite his recent strategic focus Jonathan has remained resolutely hands-on and still loves to hack code, and his experience covers business start-up and change, large scale rapid application development across multiple stacks and geographies, offshoring, UX and UI design, commence at scale, global infrastructure, and operational support; all across multiple sectors and geographies.

Stephanie left France as a student and built herself a career in Investment Banking, particularly in Front Office Technology in London and New York.  She has worked for the top tier banks such as Deutsche Bank, Barclays, JP Morgan and is now an Executive Director in the COO office of UBS back in London.  Her experience ranges in delivering: large global scale transformation programmes impacting 400+ Front to Back applications, regulatory initiatives that would prevent the banks from trading if failed to deliver on time and managed to drive Agile transformation while implementing a new strategic cash management platform for a leading bank.

Go to market

We have a wide network built up through many years of experience that allows us to reach multiple high-quality candidates rapidly. And while we may worked with some of them before and know they're excellent, we still go through the same vetting to make sure they're a perfect fit.

Traditionally, CVs get vetted by an individual before proceeding (or not) to the rest of the process. We're keen to have a consistency of approach and be objective rather than subjective. Having a small team regularly review all CVs together allows for a much clearer consistency of selection.

Telephone interview

This is an initial short call, 15-30 mins, to explain the roll in a bit more detail, give an overview of the company, projects and clients that the role will likely be involved with to ensure the candidate is keen to progress through the rest of the process.

Technical test

We don't want the process to overly onerous, but we do need to validate that potential team members have sufficient exposure to enterprise best practices and patterns. This short test enables us to assess very quickly if the candidate applies this knowledge and experience as standard.

Our team and our company. Anyone looking to join us will be interviewed by a senior team member, but will also meet the CEO, CTO and COO before any decisions are made. This ensures the culture and goals of the company remain consistent to the founders' vision.
